Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist area, also known by famous names such as “Ha Long Bay on land” or ” Nam Thien De Nhi Dong ” is a famous tourist area of ​​Ninh Binh . The whole area includes a system of limestone caves and historical sites related to Vu Lam palace of the Tran dynasty located mainly in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu. Trang An – Tam Coc landscape complex is classified as a special national relic and has been ranked as a world heritage by UNESCO

Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist area currently has a natural area of ​​350.3 hectares, located 2 km from National Highway 1A, 7 km from Ninh Binh city, 9 km from Tam Diep city. Mainly the area is located on Ninh Hai commune (Hoa Lu). Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist area includes many routes to visit yachts, cycling and walking, connecting about 20 tourist attractions.

The most special feature of Tam Coc this season is that the rice fields on both sides of the river begin to turn golden yellow, looking from above like a prominent golden silk on the blue water. People here embankment on the alluvial soil of the river to plant seedlings, so the foot of the rice plant is completely submerged in water, the soft-shaped fields embrace the river. Tam Coc fields were formed from the process of reclamation and labor of people since the 10th century AD.
