Three caves scenic complex
The First Cave
The name Tam Coc originates from the system of 3 caves here. In which, Hang Ca has the largest and longest area. The height of the cave is up to 20m, the length of the cave is more than 127m. According to legend, this used to be the place where a white-haired fairy like a cloud sat fishing.
Until now, when looking from afar, you can still recognize Ca Cave as wearing the appearance of a relaxed fairy. The climate in the cave is very cool, suitable to escape the sweltering heat of the northern summer.

Tam Coc Ninh Binh – Hang Hai
After Hang Ca about 1km is Hang Hai. Although it is only about 60 meters in length, the experience of sailing through the cave and watching the sparkling stalactites is also extremely interesting. The scenery and climate in the cave are not too different from Hang Ca.
Hang Ba

Tam Coc Ninh Binh – Xuyen Thuy Dong
This is a flooded dark cave, shaped like a semicircular pipe, about 350m long, about 6m wide. The ceiling and walls of the cave are quite flat, with a very unique arch shape.
The entrance to Xuyen Thuy Dong is opposite Bich Dong Pagoda at the back of the mountain. Visitors passing through here can combine with climbing activities to reach the temple!
Bich Dong Pagoda
Going to Tam Coc Bich Dong Ninh Binh without exploring this temple is really a pity. The pagoda was built in the Asian style, from the Later Le Dynasty.
Prominent in the temple is a large bell and a tower of monks who have contributed to the construction of the temple. The entrance to the temple has thousands of water lilies on both sides, creating a surreal scene.

Ha Pagoda: Ha Pagoda was built on a high platform at the foot of the mountain, including 5 compartments in the style of Dinh. The stone columns are all solid stone, more than 4m high. The trusses, crossbars, vertical beams are all made from ironwood. The roof of the pagoda has two delicately curved floors. Trung Pagoda: About 120 steps from Ha Pagoda is Trung Pagoda, halfway up the Ngu Nhac mountain range. You will surely be surprised by the unique architecture of the pagoda: half open-air and half attached to a cave. Right in front is an ancient bronze bell, carved with very fine lines. Outside is the Giai Oan bridge. Visitors here often “request” three bells for peace of mind and serenity at the Buddha’s door.
Upper Pagoda: The Upper Pagoda worships Quan Am Bodhisattva, also known as the Eastern Pagoda. This is the temple closest to Bich Dong peak, can see 5 independent mountains like 5 lotus petals adoring Bich Dong mountain. These five mountains are named Tam Sang, Gia Dinh, Pig, Dau Cau and Hang Based, also known as Ngu Nhac Son.
