Visit 3 Tam Coc caves
The reason this place is called Tam Coc is because it consists of 3 caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang ba. The most interesting thing is that they were created from the natural flow of the Ngo Dong River, because of time, the limestone cliffs were erodedto form natural caves.
Hang Ca is 127km long, an extremely large cave with many stalactites of all shapes and sizes. The air in the cave is super cool, even in the middle of hot summer, when entering here, the atmosphere completely changes, the temperature is pleasant and the humidity is high.
The road to Hang Hai is about 1km, along both sides of the river are people harvesting ripe rice. Hang Hai is smaller than Hang Ca, but inside there are also magical, shimmering stalactites.

2.1 Experience Thai Vi Temple – Thien Huong Cave

Bich Dong area is located about 2km by boat from Tam Coc wharf, located halfway up the mountain, close to Bich Dong Pagoda. Nature has endowed the landscape here with an extremely airy and peaceful beauty. Right on front of Bich Dong is a branch of the Ngo Dong River surrounding the mountainside, looking from afar you will see the golden carpet. At the end of the famous Tam Coc – Bich Dong complex is the ancient Linh Coc Pagoda nestled on the mountain. Chua Moc was built during the Tran Dynasty. Linh Coc Pagoda is located in the mountain and bears the classical architectural features of Buddhism during the Tran Dynasty, having both artistic value and long – standing historical and cultural value.

Notes when traveling to Tam Coc in the golden season
The vast Tam Coc – Bich Dong complex is most beautiful when taken from above, especially the vast ripe rice fields. Therefore, if you want to have impressive photos, you should discuss with the boatman in advance to find the most beautiful and suitable photo location. Adsolutely do not stand precariously on the boat to take photos because the risk of capsizing the boat will be very high.
To fully explore the Tam Coc – Bich Dong complex, you need a fairly long time. Therefore, if possible, you should arrange 1 day, or longer, 2 days to stay here and travel on a small boat around the caves.
